DUKE, John A., III, 83, of New Port Richey, Florida, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003 at home. He was born in Mineral, Virginia and moved here in 1994 from Beaufort, S.C. He retired as an international buyer of Men's Clothing for Rich's Department Store in Atlanta, Ga. and a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He served on board the USS Ranger Aircraft Carrier and served 12 years in the Navy. Survivors include two daughters, Eleanor Levin of Beaufort, S.C. and Lucye Duke of Richmond, Va.; three brothers, Goodman B. Duke of Louisa, Va., Robert E. Duke of Staunton, Va. and Lunsford L. Duke of Glen Allen, Va.; and two sisters, Betty D. Swinson of Manakin-Sabot, Va. and Peggy D. Harris of Midlothian, Va. Burial will take place in Virginia. THOMAS B.
