Joanne Ferrell Davis Joanne Ferrell Davis, 75, passed away July 7, 2008, in her Tallahassee, Fla. home with her loving family at her side. She was born and raised in Ohio but, had been a long time resident of Tallahassee. Beyond her 30 plus years working as an administrative assistant, Joanne enjoyed music, needlework, flowers, baking and watching the Atlanta Braves.She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald E. Davis; her four children, Diane Mealey (Tom) of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Gayle White (Rod), Jeff Davis and Doug Davis, all of Tallahassee; her four grandchildren, Karen and Christopher Mealey of Denver, Colo., and Brian and Laura White of Tallahassee; her sister, Shirley Gant (Yolan) of Wadsworth, Ohio; and her brother, Gary Ferrell of Las Vegas, N.V. The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. EDT today at Tallahassee Memory Gardens (850-562-1518).In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308.
