Joann Lyons (nee Rosich-Whiting) Marshall, TX Joann Lyons (nee Rosich-Whiting), age 66, of Marshall, TX, and formerly a longtime resident of Calumet Township, passed away on November 15, 2005. For many years, she was employed at Johnny's Drive-In, and also had numerous waitress positions at area restaurants. She attended Calumet High School. Her parents: John and Mildred Dopiriak; brother, Anthony Rosich and sister, Louise Rosich, preceded her in death. Joann is survived by her husband, Jack Lyons; two children: Shelly Whiting and Mark Whiting; granddaughter, Candice Whiting; six brothers: George (Paula) Rosich of FL, Danny (Phyllis) Rosich of Kouts, Chetty Rosich of Chesterton, Junior Rosich of FL, Michael Dopiriak of Hebron and Andy Dopiriak of Hobart. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 12:30 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, corner of 101st and Broadway, Merrillville/Crown Point. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Joann's remains will be interred in Calumet Park Cemetery.
