School CustodianLAKELAND -- Mrs. JoAnn Cox Lee of Lakeland died of heart and lung failure July 1, 2004, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 57.Born in Greensville, N.C., on March 16, 1947, she came to Lakeland from there many years ago. She was a retired custodian for the Hillsborough County public schools. She was a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Plant City.Mrs. Lee is survived by her daughters, Latasha Lee, Ashia Giles, Deneka Lee, Connie Green, all of Lakeland; son, Kenneth Lee, Puerto Rico; sisters, Annie Pearl Cox Alston, Plant City, Naomi Cox Griffin, Carolyn Gilmore, Arnetha Smith, all of Tampa; brothers, Brandy E. Cox, Sachse, Texas, James H. Smith, Lakeland; 23 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Washington Funeral Chapel, 909 W. Madison St., Plant City. Services will be at noon Saturday at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, 645 N. Webster Ave., Lakeland.
