CLARK, JoAnn "Jodi" (Kohl) 51, passed away on Sept. 12, 2007, under hospice care at her home in Los Angeles, CA. Born in Des Moines, IA, on Jan. 10, 1956, Jodi's family moved to St. Petersburg in 1962. She received her elementary education at the Cathedral of St. Jude parish school and was a 1974 graduate of Notre Dame Academy (St. Petersburg Catholic High School.) She attended the University of Florida and was a feature writer and editor for the school 's newspaper, The Alligator. She graduated in 1977 and joined her fiance, Mike Clark in Los Angeles. Over the years she was employed by Occidental Petroleum, Ritter-Geller Communications, Rothstein-Memsic, a graphics firm, and the city of Los Angeles. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her loving and compassionate spirit, her fierce loyalty, and her generous gift of self to any person in need. She is survived by her husband, Mike and two daughters, Carrie and Sara, Los Angeles; her mother, Alma Kohl, St. Petersburg; sisters, Michele Kohl, and Kay Labrasciano, St. Petersburg; Mary Kohl, Denver; Teresa Hamilton, Atlanta; brother, Ronald Kohl (Virginia), Brandon; father-in-law, and sister-in-law, Edmund Clark, and Shawn Check, St. Petersburg; two nieces; three nephews; three great-nieces; and one great-nephew. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Cathedral of St. Jude (Our Lady's Chapel), St. Petersburg, on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 11 am.
