Joan V. Fierro (nee Beggs), 77, of Fairfield, N.J., died on April 15, 2014. Arrangements were handled privately by The Keri Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln Park, N.J. Born in Paterson, N.J. Mrs. Fierro lived in Haledon, N.J.; Bloomingdale, N.J., and Lincoln Park, N.J., before moving to Fairfield nine years ago. She was a legal assistant with Fox Rothchilds Law Firm, Roseland, for five years, retiring in 2012. Prior, she worked in the same capacity at Wolff & Samson Law Firm, West Orange, N.J. Mrs. Fierro was the beloved mother of Michael, Judy and David (Karen) Fierro and grandmother of Nicole, Meredith and Andrew Fierro. Donations in Mrs. Fierro's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, www.michaeljfox.org, would be appreciated.
