Joan Smith of Yonkers died on Wednesday December 9, 2009 at age 59. She was born on February 10, 1950 to Peter and Anne (Cafarelli) Smith in Yonkers where she was raised and educated. Joan was a receptionist at the Medical Office of Dr. McGrath in Yonkers. She is survived by her two children Vincent (Jessica) Smith of Millertine, NY and Joanne Smith of Yonkers, her four grandchildren Jesse, Jillian, Aiden and Joseph and two sisters Ann Marie (Edward) Pugsley and Susan Rice both of Yonkers and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church on Monday December 14th at 9:30AM.
