BRANDON - Joan Margaret Lutz, 78, of Tom's River, N.J., and formerly of Brandon, died Nov. 1, 2009, at Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, from injuries suffered in a car accident on Oct. 7 in East Middlebury.She was born March 26, 1931, in Paterson, N.J., the daughter of John and Wileminha (Wiemers) Johnson.On May 7, 1955, she married Thomas Lutz in Riverdale, N.J.Survivors include two children, Linda Brown of Lansing, Mich., and John Lutz of Leicester.She was predeceased by her husband.Per her request, there will be no service or calling hours.Burial will be at a later date in Pequannock, N.J.Cremation is by the Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Home of Burlington.View the guest book at www.rutlandherald.com/ obits.
