Mrs. Joan Kalmin (née Lee) January 22, 1910 - June 25, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) KALMIN, Joan - 95, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side, in Dartmouth General Hospital, Saturday, June 25, 2005. Born in Scotland, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Hannah Lee. Joan was an avid bingo player, and a loving, respected mother and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley, Dartmouth; her second family, Edith Sellon, Hubbards; Lillian Sampson, Weymouth; Leonard Knight, Porters Lake; Ronnie Knight, Dartmouth; Chris Knight, New Brunswick; Pam Cooper, Dartmouth. She was predeceased by her husband, John Anthony Kalmin; brothers, Robert, Walter, Johnnie; sisters, Mary, Helen, Christina. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. No visitation by request. Graveside service 2 p.m. Wednesday in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
