HADEN, Joan Kathryn Dodson "Mimi"Age 78 of Nashville, TN. Born on July 9, 1933. Passed away on June 13, 2012. Loving wife to Charles; mother of Brigitte Wiley (David), Cindy Dickens (Mickey) & Terri Hazzard (Scott). Very special Mimi to Katye Yarbrough (Brandon), Scotty Hazzard, Haden Wiley, Cate Wiley & Kirby Wiley. Also loved by Chad Blackburn & Will Lane. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Dodson (Frances); sisters, Beverly Cole, Sarah Caldwell, Mary Lynn Coley (Bud) & Patsy Durham; brothers & sisters-in-law, Janet & Lyle Haden and Norma & Bill Jernigan. Joan was a graduate of Central High School where she was a cheerleader. She married the love of her life, Charles, on July 1, 1952. They would have celebrated their 60th anniversary on July 1. Together they raised a beautiful family filled with love, laughter, traditions & making everlasting memories. She was blessed with a host of lifelong & wonderful friends who meant so much to her life. Joan was loving, caring funny, athletic and a very faithful Christian. She enjoyed her card groups, traveling with family, feeding her birds but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Richard Martin, Dr. Johanna Bendell, Dr. Richard Berkman, Dr. Patrick Stansberry, Dr. Jackson Wray, and all the loving & caring nurses & staff at Centennial Medical Center. Visitation will be Thursday, June 14, 2012, from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m.-12 Noon at Crieve Hall Church of Christ, 4806 Trousdale Drive. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 15, 2012 at 12 Noon at the church by Bill Watkins. Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: David Wiley, III, Mickey Dickens, Scott Hazzard, Scotty Hazzard, Jack Dodson, Bud Coley & Lyle Haden.
