Joan Hinton Johnson, 73, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 in Louisville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Josephine Hinton and siblings, Lester, Leon, Margaret, Maryland, Demon, and Charles. She was survived by son, Terry Johnson of Shelbyville; daughter, Ginger Johnson Van of Shelbyville. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the Shannon Funeral Home. Visitation is 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A committal service will be at 2 p.m., eastern time, Saturday at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens in Campbellsville. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Simpsonville Baptist Church.
