HENDERSON, Joan (Vaughan, Niles) - 84, of Agincourt, Ontario and most recently Vero Beach, Florida, died peacefully Sunday, June 21, 2009. Joan was born September 29, 1924 in Toronto and married Vincent R. Vaughan of Agincourt, Ontario where they lived and raised 5 children (Diana, Alan, Pamela, Joy and Katherine). She moved to Vero Beach 20 years ago with late husband Harold Niles from Michigan, USA. After Harold's death, Joan married Col. Raymond Henderson, USAF from San Antonio, Texas. Joan was also stepmother to 7 children (Shelly, Jackie, George, Tim and Joe Niles, Phil and Greg Henderson) and was a beloved grandmother and great- grandmother. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at St. Timothy's Anglican Church Agincourt, (4125 Sheppard Ave., Toronto, M1S 1T1) where she was involved in church activities for over 40 years. The Committal of the Ashes will follow at 2 p.m. at St. John's the Baptist Norway Anglican Church, (470 Woodbine Ave., Toronto, M4E 2H6). Joan's family will welcome friends to this celebration of her life.
