Joan B. "Bundy" Godwin, 82, died Aug. 22, 2007, at Central State Medical Center in Freehold, N.J. She was born in New York and lived in Jensen Beach for 18 years, coming from East Brunswick, N.J. Before retirement she was a medical secretary in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Survivors include her daughter, Mariann Van Buren of Pennington, N.J.; sons, John Godwin and Rick Godwin, both of Point Pleasant, N.J., and Robert Godwin of Fort Pierce; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Godwin; and her sister, Virginia Beecroft. Memorial contributions may be made to the Martin County Council on Aging. SERVICES: A funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Aug. 24 at St. Peter's R.C. Church in Point Pleasant Beach, with burial to follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Wall Township. Arrangements are by Van Hise & Callagan Funeral Home in New Jersey.
