Jo-Ann Johnson SPRINGFIELD - Jo-Ann (Taylor) Johnson, 59, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2012. Born in Holyoke Massachusetts, to Stanley and Anita Taylor, she lived in Springfield for 33 years. She graduated from Holyoke High School and from STCC. She worked as a CNA in various nursing homes; at the MSPCA and she bred standard poodles for 25 years. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 35 years, Russ; her five children, Melissa, Rachel, Jessica, and Ryan Johnson; Sarah Santaniello and her husband Tony and 11 grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her mother Anita Christiansen of Florida, her sisters Patricia Quinn of West Springfield; Dianne Seaman of San Diego; her Aunt Edna Doucette of Chicopee; her closest friend Terry Demers of Ludlow and a dear family friend, Brandon Haberern. Her hobbies included painting, gardening and music. She had a special ability to find humor and to make people feel comforted and loved wherever she was. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4p.m. - 7p.m. at Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield Street, Chicopee.
