Jones, Jill Anne, 41, and Nicholas "Niko", 16, of Lynchburg, VA went home to be with their Lord, on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from injuries received in an automobile accident. Jill was an associate professor in the School of Education at Liberty University. She spent her entire professional career as an educator. Niko was born in Naperville, Illinois, November 19, 1993. He was a rising senior at Liberty Christian Academy. Both were members of Thomas Road Baptist Church. They are survived by husband/father Ray Jones and their son/brother, Raymond Jones both of Lynchburg and also survived by many loving family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Lynchburg. The family request memorial contributions be made in Jill's honor to the Liberty University School of Education, 1971 University Blvd., Lynchburg, VA 24502. The family request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Niko's honor to the Liberty Christian Academy Athletic Department, 100 Mountain View Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502.
