Funeral for Jessie Tapscott Lee, 81, of Hartselle will be today, Sept. 19, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Peebles and the Rev. Harold Brown officiating.Burial will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Mrs. Lee died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at her residence. She was born July 22, 1923, in Morgan County to Jack R. Tapscott and Rosa M. Fergerson Tapscott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Lee; one brother, Woodrow Tapscott; and four sisters, Esther Tapscott Robertson, Pauline Tapscott Halbrooks, Creola Tapscott Foster and Maggie Tapscott. Survivors include one son, Jack E. Johnson of Hartselle; and one granddaughter, Hea ther Leigh Johnson of Decatur. Pallbearers will be Paul Wayne Tapscott, Jerry Tapscott, Doug Bailey, John Campbell, Michael Free, Kevin Free, Stanley Walls and Kenny Posey.
