Funeral service for Jessie Mae Williams, 84, West New Hampshire Avenue, DeLand, who died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at Woodland Terrace Nursing Center, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at Friendship Baptist Church, DeLand. Burial will follow at DeLand Memorial Gardens. Calling hours are from 10 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Williams was born in Dunnellon and moved to this area in 1951 from New York. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, DeLand. Survivors include her sister, Rosey L. Lewis, San Francisco, Calif.; nephews, James Oliver, Willie Tribble and Charles Oliver, all of Dunnellon; great-nephew, James Oliver Jr., Ocala; several other great-nephews and great-nieces; and Edwin Best, who provided for her care, DeLand. Lankford Funeral Home, DeLand, is in charge of arrangements.
