TUSCALOOSA Jessie Lee Johnson, age 90, of Tuscaloosa, died Oct. 3, 2012, at home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Memory Hill Gardens with John Warren officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband, George Buck Johnson, and an infant son, George Michael Johnson.Survivors include her daughters, Lana Meyer (Dane) and Katie Laycock (James), both of Birmingham, and Rosalyn Hicks (Mark) of Tuscaloosa; her grandchildren, Shelly Hicks Campbell (Josh), David Hicks (Katie), Michael Hicks, Leslie Laycock (Nathan), Chad Laycock, Jon Laycock, Shaun Meyer, Chris Meyer (Caroline), and Jessica Meyer, all of Birmingham; and 11 great-grandchildren.Miss Jessie, "Maw Maw", was a joy and inspiration to her family and all who knew her. There is a big hole in our lives, but her memories fill our hearts.
