HILL- Jessie Hill (nee Carr) passed away peacefully at Parkland Place in Melfort, SK on March 18, 2008 at the age of 97 years. She was predeceased by her husband John Evan; son Jack; grandson Darren Seiffert and brother Thomas Carr. Jessie is survived by her daughter Beverley (Ed) Seiffert; son Gary (Lillian) Hill; daughterin-law Thora Hill; grandchildren Gary Hill, Dawn Hassman, Patti (Leonard) Willer, Kelley (Robert) Delorme, Debbie (Colby) Johnson, Kyla (Andrew) Nelson and Kimberley Hill; ten great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Jessie was raised in Moose Jaw and spent the majority of her life in Regina. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Jessie also worked for a period of time at the Red Cross. She was an extraordinary cook, avid reader, and loved dogs and baseball. Jessie was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Jessie became a resident of Parkland Place in 1998, where she remained until her death. A Graveside Service and Interment will be held at Rosedale Cemetery in Moose Jaw on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be directed to Plus Industries.
