DOUCETTE (McDonald), Jessie Florence-94, Dartmouth, died peacefully Thursday, November 27, 2003, in Ocean View Manor. Born in West Petpeswick, she was a daughter of the late Garvie and Abagail (Mitchell) Young. She was predeceased by her first husband, Wilfred George McDonald; second husband, Jerry Doucette; sons, Kenneth, Lloyd, Robert and Lawrence McDonald; brothers, Archibald and Franklyn Young; sister, Eva Smith, and her twin sister, Margaret (Malcolm) Peach. She is survived by sons, David (Theresa), Graham (Lorraine), Harold (Karen); daughters, Marilyn (Harry) Chapman, Abagail (James) Lochie, Janie McDonald; stepdaughter, Janet Alton; daughters-in-law, Lil McDonald, Winnipeg; Juanita McDonald, Ottawa; Ellen McDonald, Dartmouth; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, who were all a delight to her. Visiting will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Dartmouth Funeral Home, 29 Queen St. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, Gaston Road, Rev. Robert Floyd celebrant. A reception will follow in the church hall. Burial will be at a later date in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Family flowers only by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Clement's Church.
