He was a member of Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Alfred and Pauline Baldwin Taylor.Surviving are his daughter, Loretta "Dudder" Leake and her husband, Larry, of Mars Hill; sons, Dewayne Taylor, of Weaverville and James Taylor, of Mars Hill; grandchildren, Morgan, Chip, Jake, Carlie, Allie and Heath; sister, Barbara Jean Tesner and her husband, Dewey, of Robbinsville; brother, Sterling Taylor, of Alexander; several nieces and nephews and his extended family at Elderberry Healtcare.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home with the Reverends Furman Wilson and Roy McPeters. Burial will follow in West Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the home of James Taylor. www.MadisonFH.com
