TUSCALOOSA Jerry Lynn Hall, age 59, of Tuscaloosa, died Jan. 20, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Old Center Cemetery on Watermelon Road in Tuscaloosa with Rev. Jonathan Ivey officiating and Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry V. Hall and Naomi Clark Hall. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Hobson Hall; stepdaughter, Janet Skinner (Craig); stepson, Anthony “Tony” Sartain (Missy); two sisters, Pamela Hall Copeland (Gene) and Rudi Hall Thompson; brother, William V. Hall (Ann); and six grandchildren, Jonathan, Grant, Adam, and Luke Sartain, and Rachel and Grace Skinner.Jerry was a loving and kind man who enjoyed spending time with his family, vacationing at the beach, listening to music, and being a proud Papa to his six grandchildren.Pallbearers are Jonathan, Grant, and Adam Sartain, Craig Skinner, William V. Hall, and Gene Copeland.Honorary pallbearers are coworkers of VA Medical Center and the staff of Noland Long Term Care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Old Center Church and Cemetery.
