Jerry Eugene Davis was born February 8, 1941, in Windy City Mo. He was a lifelong resident of Highlandville, Mo., and in 2002, he moved to Walnut Grove to be closer to his brother. Jerry was a home builder by trade for 35 years. He loved being outdoors, fishing and hunting and just enjoying nature. Jerry had a wonderful sense of humor, especially to those who knew him. He was 67 years old. Jerry and Nancy Ellen Ware were married July 29, 1961. They shared 43 years together. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his father, Glenn Davis; mother Viola Davis; and one brother, Stanley. He is survived by his brother and his wife, Kenneth and Debbie Davis of Walnut Grove; one sister-in-law and her husband, Deloris and Mike Woods of Taneyville; one nephew and his wife, Shane and Stacy Ware of Stockton; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
