(nee Anderson) Peacefully at home on March 25, 2001, in her eighty-ninth year. The cherished wife of the late William Lamert Patterson, she will be lovingly remembered by her son Ian (Helene), daughter Janet, grandchildren Laure (Fernando) and Angus, and her great-grandson Oliver, as well as many other family members and friends, especially those in Nova Scotia. Jeannie, devoted daughter of the late George Bain and the late Jane Gibson Cuthbert. Was predeceased by brothers George, Francis and David, and is survived by her sister Margaret (Eric Olds) of Toronto. Jeannie spent much of her life in service to others through volunteer work at her church and with the Red Cross. She poured her creativity into beautifying everyday objects, and her handywork will serve to remind us of her always. In keeping with her wishes, a memorial service will be held Thursday, March 29, at 2 p.m. in the Church of St. Wilfrid's at 1315 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke. please consider a donation to the Cancer Society or other charity of choice.
