LAFRENIERE, Jeannette (nee Guilbeault) 75 years, passed away after a lengthly illness on May 10, 2007 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Delphis Lafreniere (2005). Loving mother of Judy and husband Marcel Rivait, Doreen and husband Bill Bailey, Dianne and husband Darryl Gill, Larry Lafreniere and wife Lorraine, Gary Lafreniere and wife Anna, Annette and husband Marc Marentette. Dear meme to 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Amelia and husband Jack Ward. Jeannette enjoyed hairdressing from her home in St. Joachim for many years. Her business was known as Jeannette's Clip & Curls. Also, Jeannette enjoyed making crafts and was a member of the KAYCELLS. Arrangements entrusted to Melady Funeral Home & Chapel Belle River (519- 728-1500). Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at St. Simon & St. Jude Church 488 St. Charles Street Belle River on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial mass at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Gerard Bedard will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. In kindness memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jeannette Lafreniere in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 30, 2007. All are welcome.
