MANCHESTER -- Jeannette D. Lemieux, 80, died June 3, 2009, at Elliot Hospital, following a period of declining health. She was born in Vermont on Dec. 21, 1928, to Florida Boucher. She was a longtime resident of Manchester. She worked as a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn in Manchester before retiring. Previously, she had worked in shoe shops in Manchester. She enjoyed playing bingo, weekend card games and going out to eat with her friends. She was the last of her siblings and was predeceased by her son, Henry Lemieux Jr. Family includes stepson Leo Lemieux of Florida; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, niece Linda Ramsey, who cared for her over the years; many nieces and nephews.
