Mrs. Jeannette Comer Noell, 93, died Wednesday January 21. Mrs. Noell, the widow of Willis Newton Noell, was raised in Comer, Georgia and moved to Cleveland, Georgia in 1946. She was active in the Cleveland First United Methodist Church and worked in the White County School System as a teacher, School Social Worker, Director of the Migrant Program and Director of Special Education. She retired in 1977. Mrs. Noell moved to Highland Hills Village in Bogart in 1999 and was a member of the Watkinsville First United Methodist Church.She is survived by two daughters. Anne Rowan, her husband Jim of Watkinsville, their son Sam, his wife Carol of Bluffton, S.C. and their sons Chris and Ben of Watkinsville, their daughter Judy Rowan Cox and her daughters Miriam and Sarahgrace of Watkinsville, their daughter Noell and close family friend Laura Hall of Louisville, Kentucky. Lynn Peek, her husband Ray, and their daughters Anjeanette and Valerie of Decatur, Georgia. - The memorial service will be at the Watkinsville First United Methodist Church at 3:00 P.M. Saturday January 24. The family will receive friends at Highland Hills Village Friday January 23 from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. and at a reception after the service on Saturday.In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Building Fund of the Watkinsville First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 87, Watkinsville, Ga, 30677, or to the Cleveland United Methodist Church, P.O.
