Davis, Jeanne Louise, 78, died Wednesday, August 16th at Holy Cross Hospital surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness. Born August 18, 1927, Jeanne was the second child of Moise and Mary Grady Boudreau and with her 2 brothers grew up in the section of Springfield, MA called Hungry Hill. Following her graduation in 1945 from Cathedral High School, she met and, on Feb 3, 1951, married another Springfield native, William F. Davis Jr. In 1965, they settled in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with a family that grew to include 4 sons and 2 daughters. Jeanne's life was her family and for them she was an indomitable, gallant lady who defined courage and grace and whose loss is unmeasured. She was pre-deceased by her husband, her brothers Charles and Fr Paul Boudreau; her nephew Michael Boudreau and her grandson Sean Michael Davis. She is survived by her son, William F Davis III, his wife Mary and their daughter Kelly Davis Corales, 27; her daughter, Eileen Gray and her 2 children, Sgt. Robert Gray, 30 and Jeanne Gray-Dominguez, 29; her son, Robert M. Davis; her son Timothy P Davis, his wife Marianne and their 2 children, Patrick, 20, and Anna, 17; her daughter, Patricia Lynn Macek, her husband, Mark and their 3 children, Mary Kate, 17, Molly Clare, 14, and Maggie Shea, 9; and her son Paul T Davis. Visitation will be 3-7 PM Sunday, August 20, 2006 at Baird-Case Funeral Home, 4343 N Federal Hwy, Ft. Lauderdale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Coleman Church, Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, Monday, August 21, 2006 at 1:00 PM.
