Jeanne Davis, 71     OLD ORCHARD BEACH -- Jeanne Davis, 71, of Old Orchard Beach, died Monday, April 21, 2008, at Southern Maine Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 3, 1936, in Biddeford, the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Googins) Ridlon. Mrs. Davis was a devoted parishioner of the United Methodist Church of Old Orchard Beach.     Mrs. Davis was an avid volunteer for many local charitable events. Her most notable achievement was her countless hours running the United Methodist Church's Food Pantry in Old Orchard Beach; a mission she has undertaken for over 15 years. In addition, she was the former treasurer and Vice President of the American Legion Auxiliary in Old Orchard. She enjoyed tending flower gardens and loved to run the toy drives for community children during the holidays. She also enjoyed going out to eat with her many family and friends, perusing yard sales, and shopping.      She is predeceased by her husband, James S. Davis and her daughter, Karen Davis. Surviving are three sons:, Jamie Davis and his wife Kathy of Biddeford, Terry Davis of Englewood, Fla., James Steven Davis and his wife Karin of Englewood, Fla., one daughter-, Lisa Davis of Biddeford; two sisters, Dianne McLellan, Judy Shirk, brother-Michael Siminski, all of Scarborough; several half-brothers and half-sisters; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.     Friends and family are invited to a funeral service on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at 10 a.m., at United Methodist Church, corner of Washington and Fountain Avenue, Old Orchard Beach, with Pastor Michael Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Scarborough Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford.    Jeanne Davis
