SPARTANBURG, SC-- Jeanette Catherine Wofford Anderson, 100, formerly of 155 Tucker Road died Friday, December 30, 2005.Born April 7, 1905, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Ethel Morgan Wofford, and the widow of Theodore McKinley Anderson, Sr., to whom she was married for over 58 years. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, which included six brothers and three sisters.Mrs. Anderson was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she was honored in 2005 as the oldest living member. She taught in the Primary Department for over 35 years, and was an active member of the Womens Missionary Union while able. She was a devoted Mother and homemaker.Survivors include one son, Theodore McKinley Anderson, Jr. and his wife Mary Jean of Inman; two daughters, Betty A Pack of Spartanburg and Elaine A. Hunt and her husband Bill of Sapphire Valley, NC and Holden Beach, NC; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn W. Anderson of Anderson; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren, as well as a number of beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Charles Robert Anderson; a daughter, Jeanette A. Hambrick; and two grandchildren, Charles Frederick Garrett and Melody Catherine Moss.Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. David M. Blanton. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Floyds North Church Street Chapel.Memorials in memory of Mrs. Anderson may be made to her beloved church, Southside Baptist Church, 316 South Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.The family is at the home of her daughter, Betty A.
