ANDERSON Jeanette Martha Edeen Anderson, age 86 of Bridgeport, died peacefully, surrounded by family members on January 4, 2011. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., to Elva and John Edeen who were Salvation Army officers, Jeanette devoted her life to following the Lord and caring for her family. She is survived by eight children, Paul Anderson and his wife, Chirstine, of Weston, Carla Weston and husband, Richard, Lars Anderson and wife, Kathleen, all of Fairfield, Stanley Adnerson of Lakeland, Fla., Cathy Fowles and husband, Dennis of Stratford, Don Anderson and wife, Joan of Ansonia, Kim German and husband, Joseph of Sterling, Mass.and Dag Anderson and wife, Elizabeth of Madison; 29 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. She is also lovingly remembered by her companion of many years. Elsie Knolls. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Salvation Army Citadel Corps., 30 Elm St., Bridgeport. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
