Jean Y. Rogers of Kirkwood, N.Y.Jean Y. Rogers, 80, of Kirkwood, N.Y. died Thursday, February 28, 2002 at Binghamton General Hospital, Binghamton. Born August 11, 1921 in Cicero, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Herbert E. and Mary E. (Tanner) Yost. Her husband, Albert Rogers survives her. She enjoyed watching and keeping track of the wild animals around her home. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Robert C. Pierson, Kirkwood; adopted daughter, Marlene Pierson Zopp, Charlotte, N.C.; grandsons and spouses, Steven (Kimberly Biefeldt) Pierson, Robert A. (Helena) Pierson, William Pierson, Randy Pierson; great-grandchildren, Steven Pierson, Scott Pierson, Amy Pierson, Ryan Sager, Ethan Button, Chelsi Jones, Robert W. Pierson, Jessica Pierson, Joshua Pierson; brother-in-law and spouse, Edward L. (Alice) Rogers, Kirkwood. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Bartron Funeral Home, Inc., 74 Church St., Montrose, Pa. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
