CARTER, Jean Shibley. Suddenly at Quinte Health Care Prince Edward County Memorial, on Saturday, January 20, 2007, Jean Shibley Carter, graduate of McGill University and former employee of Bell Canada, at the age of eighty-four. Beloved daughter of the late Douglas and Marjorie Carter. Dear cousin of Elizabeth and her husband Donald McNaughton of Halifax, N.S. and Donald and his wife Catherine Carter of Kingston and their children Scott McNaughton of Ottawa, Robb McNaughton and his wife Narumi of Calgary, Ian and his wife Chrissie Carter of Vancouver and Colin and his partner Heather Cross of Kingston. Jean will be missed by her many close friends. A celebration of Jean's life will be held at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main Street, West, Picton on Friday, January 26 at 2 p.m. Reverend Hal Wilson Officiating. Reception to follow at the Waring House. If desired, donation to Picton United Church would be appreciated by the family. (Cheques only please).
