MILAN - Jean Susan Mainguy, 59, of Milan, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2014, at her home. She was born in Boston on June 19, 1954, the daughter of Leo J. and Helen (Loven) Mainguy and was a lifelong resident of the Berlin-Milan area. Jean had been employed by the State of New Hampshire for many years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. She was a very active athlete, who was involved in several local leagues and directed them. She is survived by her brother Richard L. Mainguy of Berlin; aunts Lucille Mainguy and Shirley Bockman, both of Berlin; an uncle Robert "Butch" Loven and his wife Karen of Dummer; and cousins. Jean was predeceased by her parents and her companion Dick Labrecque.. services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will follow in the St. Kieran Cemetery.
