Jean-Ruth Williams, née en 1937, est décédée le 1 juillet 2005. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
Williams, Jean Ruth "Pinky", of Ft. Lauderdale died July 1, 2005. She was born in Allentown, PA on August 10, 1937. She was raised by the Dyiak family in PA for 8 years, and also lived in an orphanage. She knew what it was like to go to bed hungry and cold. So she dedicated her life to making sure that no child she knew would ever have to experience that. She came to Florida in 1954, married Robert and began her family. She was the kind of mother who always put her children first, whether her own or adoptive. Everyone knew they had a place to go for a hot meal, and warm bed. She went through many difficult years in her early life, and then in the last few years. But in between was filled with being a giving, loving, and compassionate person. She will never be forgotten, and her deeds and influence will be felt for many years to come. "A better Angel Heaven has yet to meet." The family would like to thank the staff of Broward General for making her comfortable, and keeping her with us for as long as they did, and also the entire Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Squad for their help and concern. They were amazing. She is survived by her children Debbie, Tod (Roz), Rick (Linda), Tab (Elizabeth), Kurt (Diane), Brian, Terry; grandchildren Danielle (Chris), J.C., Matthew, Jessica, Ricky, Harley, Robert; great-grandchildren, Nicole Marie, and Cassie. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00PM at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, 7001 NW 4 Street. Interment and Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at Lauderdale Memorial Park at 10:00AM. Arrangements by T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, www.tmralph.com, 954 587-6888.
