Retired Secretary NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, Mrs. Jean McAllister Carr, 76, of Sudlow Hills Court, North Augusta, SC. Surviving is a daughter, Marsha L. Miskovic (Mark), North Augusta, SC; two brothers, Jack Carr, Indianapolis and Frank Carr, Cincinnati, OH; two sisters, Nancy Simpson, Lake Havasu, Arizona and Donna Jones, Inverness, FL; six grandchildren: Crystal, Jared, Jaclynn, Megan, Albert and Edward and five great grandchildren: Kaylee, Kenzie, Mark, Preston and Wyatt. Mrs. Carr was born in Cincinnati, OH to the late Ernest and Mildred McAllister Carr. She was a retired secretary with U.S. Shoe and a member of Victory Baptist Church, North Augusta, SC. A memorial for Mrs. Carr will be held immediately following the Sunday, February 1, 2009 evening worship service at Victory Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Brown officiating.
