BAIN - Jean Marie, 85, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Rose Garden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she resided in Valley Stream, NY, before settling in Lakewood 10 years ago. Jean was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Lakewood. Also, she was a former parishioner and soloist of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Hewlett, NY. She continually lived her faith and always thanked God for her gift of song. Jean was predeceased by her Parents, William and Theresa Burke; her Husband, Thomas F. Bain in 1990; and her Son, William in 2000. She is survived by her Son, Kevin T. Bain and his Wife, Barbara Burck of Greenwood Village, CO; her Daughter, Kathleen Kelly and her Husband, James of Lakewood, NJ; her Grandchildren, Stacey Kelly McEwan of Littleton, CO, James Kelly of Toms River, NJ, JonathanKelly of Littleton, CO, and Megan and Thomas Bain of Greenwood Village, CO; her Great- grandchildren, Cameron, Landon, and Kian; and her Loving Companion, Walter Colman. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, 43 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, NJ. A private cremation will follow. Donations may be made in Jean's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Mary of the Lake RC Church, 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ.
