REYNOLDS-MOORE Jean Margaret (nee Lewis) Passed away Thursday December 8, 2005 at her daughter's home in Merlin, surrounded by her family after a long life well lived. Jean was born in Windsor on December 23, 1919, elder daughter of the late James Lewis and Mabel Soper. Predeceased by her husbands Stephen Moore March 22, 1980 and Reginald Reynolds March 3, 2005. Beloved mother of Jim & Dianne Moore (Windsor), Tom & Maureen Moore (Amhersturg), Sue & Ted Carr (Tilbury), Ann & John Moore (Watford) and Gary & Brenda Moore (Merlin). Fondly remembered by Reg's children John & Corrine Reynolds, Ann Flower, Janice Fisher & Sherry & Walt Ball. Loving and proud grandmother of twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Also survived by Hilda Shore and several other cousins. Predeceased by her sister Betty (2000), her husband Doug Pierce (1944) and his sons Herbert Pierce (1941), & Ron Pierce (2001) and her husband Gene Labonte (1999). Survived by Betty & Gene's children, Bob Labonte, Bonnie & Don Nead, and their families. Jean was a longtime resident of Merlin where she was a dedicated and active volunteer in many community endeavors including at the Seniors Centre and with the Merlin United Church Women. She was an avid quilter and embroiderer and taught ceramics for many years. Friends may call at the Secord & Smith Funeral Home, 8 Aberdeen St., Merlin, 519-689-4261 .
