JEAN M. COX GRIFFITH, IN Jean M. Cox age 66 of Griffith, IN joined her spirit with her creator on Monday October 31, 2011 at her home. She was born in Hammond, IN on August 8, 1945 to John and Florence Mastey, who preceded her in death. Jean is survived by her children: Shari (Don) Galinski of Crown Point, Donna (Jim) Herron of Cedar Lake, Beth (Mike) Kime of Griffith, Rob Cox of Crown Point, Jim (Ninette) Cox of Crown Point, and Bill (Venetta) Cox of Highland; grandchildren: Donald and Derek Galinski, Heather, Caitlin, Justin (Becky), and Jeremy Cox, Andrew (Lori) Kime, Daniel, Joshua and Abby Kime, James and Jacob Herron, four great grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; three dearest friends: Pat Wilmore, Patsy Clark, and Lisa Muller; stepmother, June Mastey of Griffith. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert E. Cox; one brother, John Mastey. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Rd.) Highland, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday afternoon from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. ( time of service). Jean was an accomplished and gifted artist. She was a devoted Reiki Master Teacher.
