Funeral service for Jean M. Carter, 74, Ormond Beach, who died Monday, June 20, 2005, at Ormond in the Pines, will be 11 a.m. today, (Friday, June 24) in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with the Rev. Robert Moorehead officiating. Mrs. Carter was born July 10, 1930, in Winston-Salem, N.C., to Rober and Hattie (Lawrence) Carter and moved to this area from Winston-Salem in 1965. Jean was a member of First Baptist Church, Daytona Beach. She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul. She is survived by her sons, Dennis Culler (Cheryl) and Steve Culler (Kathy), all of Ormond Beach; four grandchildren, Melodye Lewis (Steve), Stacey Culler, Jasta Desko (Sean) and Brianna Conrad; and five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Sadie, Sabrina, Dyllan and Honesty.
