April 2, 2005 Jean M. Carr, 82, of the Valley, died Saturday at Community General Hospital. Born in Plattsburgh, she retired from Syracuse City Schools in 1985 following 20 years of service as a bus aide for the mentally and physically challenged. She en-joyed bingo, crafting, traveling and summers at Lake Champlain and winters at Anna Maria Island, FL. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lynn Carr, in 1993 and her husband, George R. Carr, March 13, 2005. Jean is survived by three daughters: Corrie Lopipero of Camillus, Barbara Carr of Liverpool and Kimberly (Eric) Broeker of Cicero; two sons, William G. (Patricia) Carr and James S. Carr, both of Plattsburgh; a sister, Pat Irwin of Potsdam; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 9 a.m. Tuesday at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse, and 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
