McMILLAN, Jean Louise (nee Horton) - Passed away suddenly at her residence in Palmerston, Ontario on Saturday May 29, 2004 at the age of 70. Jean was born near Hensall, Ontario and was raised at R.R.#3 Listowel, Ontario. Loved daughter of the late Lloyd and Helen (Millar) Horton. Loving mother of Anne Steven and her husband David of R.R.#1 Newton, Donna Williams of Waterloo, and Bruce McMillan and his wife Sheila of Kitchener. Dear grandmother of Natalie Steven, Matthew, Colton and Nicholas Williams and Sean McMillan. Dear sister of Margaret and her husband David Brodhagen of Palmerston. Fondly remembered by her three nieces and their families. Predeceased by her brother William Horton (1949). Jean, a Guelph General Hospital Registered Nurse graduate (1955), lived, raised a family and worked in Peterborough for more than thirty years. Her dedication and compassion as a nurse greatly influenced her children who have in turn themselves all chosen careers in the medical field. Jean had an unwavering faith and knew that when her days on earth came to an end, she would rest in the presence of her loving heavenly Father. A Private Family Funeral Service was held Tuesday June 1, 2004 in the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston Chapel, with Reverend John Finochio officiating. Interment Fairview Cemetery Listowel.
