ANDERSON, JEAN LOUISE, of Markesan, WI (Barrett House, CBRF) surrounded by her loving family has gone to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 6, 2006 at the age of 85. She was born February 27, 1921 in Chicago, IL. She was a graduate of North Park Junior College in Chicago. Jean worked as a model and salesperson for the Marshall Fields Co. and the Pendleton Wool Store in Chicago and served in many volunteer capacities to social service agencies and organizations including the Chicago YWCA. She and her husband Herb moved from Chicago, IL to the Orlando area in the early 1980's where she continued her volunteer work and enjoyed the friendship of so many fine people. The family of Jean Anderson would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Barbara and Tom Reif, Shelly Severson and the incredible staff at the Markesan Barrett House for their loving compassion in caring for Jean. Deepest gratitude also to the nurses from St. Agnes Hospital Hospice Hope. Jean is preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert W. Anderson, Jr. of Altamonte Springs; her parents, Edward Kenneth "Red" and Ruth Dennis of Scottsdale, AZ; her brother, Edward Kenneth "Bud" Dennis; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and George Smith of Crystal Lake, IL. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Dennis and Jenanne Anderson of Beaver Dam, WI; grandchildren, Karin (Brandon) Johnson of Framingham, MA, Jessica (David) Rodin of Framingham, MA, Joseph Anderson of Madison, WI; and great-grandson, Kendall Rodin, sister-in-law Bobbie Smith and nephew Jay Dennis. Family will receive relatives and friends at Grace Presbyterian Church, 215 Gould St., Beaver Dam, WI, followed by a Memorial Service officiated by Rev. Dr. Jack Harrison, Pastor. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the WI Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (1120 James Dr., Hartland, WI 53029) and/ or the Markesan Barrett House Transportation Fund (185 E. John St., Markesan, WI. 53946). A reception will follow the service at Old Hickory Golf Club Hwy. 33E, Beaver Dam. The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, Juneau, WI is serving the family. 262-673-4700.
