Jean K. Morris, a retired teacher for Volusia County, passed away Oct. 29, 2006. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she moved to Daytona in 1954. She attended Denison University and graduated from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland. She earned a degree from Stetson. Jean was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, P.O.E. Sisterhood, Daytona Beach Pan-Hellenic, retired teachers of Volusia County, society of Mayflower descendants and Seabreeze United Church. She is survived by a nephew; four nieces; and a sister-in-law. Burial will take place in Garrettsville, Ohio. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
