Jean Henderson, né en 1927, conjoint de Bill Henderson, est décédé le 21 mars 2008. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
HENDERSON _ Jean Robinson July 18, 1927 - March 21, 2008 Jean passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Hospital at the spry age of 80 years young. She was born in High River on July 18, 1927. Jean is survived by her loving husband of fifty-five years Bill, her sons Scott and Barry, grandchildren Amber and Landon, her sister Dorothy "Dot" of High River and many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her mother and father, Gertrude and Harry Forrest of Aldersyde, sister Ruth Eaton of Medicine Hat and twin brother Gerald Forrest of Seattle. Jean loved her family dearly and socializing with her many friends was Jean's full-time job. Her love for life and energy were infectious and her enjoyment of cards and music kept her very busy. Jean always had a cup of coffee ready for whoever dropped in, a hug for anyone, an ear to listen to problems and a voice to provide her advice (which you were getting whether you wanted it or not). A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Vulcan United Church, 201 - 2 Avenue South at 1:30 p.m. with Sue MacDonald DM officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, people can feel free to make a donation in Jean's name to any of the following very deserving organizations: Vulcan Community Health Centre, Box 299, Vulcan T0L 2B0; Foothills Foundation - Emergency Department, 1403 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary T2N 2T9; Vulcan United Church Memorial Fund, Box 275, Vulcan T0L 2B0; Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 100, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary T2N 1Z6. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of both the Vulcan and Foothills Hospitals and to the many family and friends who have touched our hearts with their kindness and generosity. "If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all prejudice against my fellow man. Give my sins to the devil; give my soul to God. If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do all I have asked, I will live forever."
