Jean F. Clark, 83, died Feb. 19, 2007, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, and lived in Vero Beach for 33 years, coming from New Lenox, Ill. She received a bachelor of arts degree from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and a master of music degree from Governors State University in Monee, Ill. She was a teacher of vocal music. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an original member of Vero Beach Choral Society, Vero Beach Yacht Club, Garden Club of Indian River County, Sea Oaks Garden Club, Republican Women Aware and was a volunteer at Indian River Memorial Hospital, all in Vero Beach. She was a member of the Community Church of Vero Beach. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela C. Dixon of Ogunquit, Maine; son, William R. Clark of Alogonquin, Ill.; sister, Lenore Weaver of Tampa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Church of Vero Beach, Music Department, 1901 23rd St., Vero Beach, FL 32960. SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at Community Church of Vero Beach, with the Rev. Gary R. Moore officiating. Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach.
