MANN, Jean EthelPeacefully after a short stay in the General Hospital on July 1st, 2012 in her 96th year. Jean was born in Sedbergh, England, March 2nd, 1917 and moved with her family to Canada at a young age. Eldest child of the late Thomas and Ethel Unsworth. Predeceased by her husband Frank Mann, grandson Scott (Switzerland), sister Roberta and brother Tom.She will be sadly missed by her son Tom (Ivy) and granddaughter Jennifer, sister Doreen (Topsy), brother Fred (Kerwin) and numerous nieces and nephews. We will miss her forever.Jean assisted her husband Frank in the professional shops at The McKellar, Tecumseh, and Ladies Golf Club of Toronto, where she was made an honourary member. Jean was a strong competitor in both curling and golf. Wintering in Florida is what Jean and Frank loved to do and spent over 40 winters there. Many thanks to the staff at Landmark Court Retirement Residence who looked after her and helped make her recent years memorable ones, along with the staff at the General. Cremation and a private graveside service at Bellevue Cemetery, Aylmer, Quebec at a later date.
