Jean Elizabeth Stuart, 87, of The Briarlea, Moncton and formerly of People’s Park Tower, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, January 24, 2014. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Gray) Stuart. Jean was retired from NB Power as a Systems Analyst with over 41 years of service and was a member of the Moncton Gospel Hall. She enjoyed photography, sewing, was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. Jean will be sadly missed by her sisters in law, Marion Stuart (late Ernest) of Moncton and Muriel Stuart (late Donald) of Riverview; several loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her sisters, Alice, Helen, Dorothy and Audrey; brothers, Percy, Russell, Roy, Edward, Ernest and Donald; nephew, Kenneth. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of 5100 and 3600 at The Moncton Hospital for the professional care given to Jean during her stay. Resting at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) with visitation on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, from 1:00 pm to 2:00pm. Funeral Service to immediately follow at 2:00 pm in Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Albert Hall officiating. Reception to follow the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre.
