Jean Edith (Coakley) Johnson MANCHESTER - Jean Edith (Coakley) Johnson, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic. She is survived by three children, Lynn Johnson, Laurene Johnson and John (Terri) Johnson; three sisters, Suzanne Johnson-Steel, Judith Ryan and Sally Lennertz; one brother, Everett (Pat) Coakley Jr.; brother-in-law, George (Alice) Johnson; six grandchildren, Andrew, Jason, Christopher, Jesse, Carl and Debbie; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Johnson in 1999; and two sisters, Shirley Nemitz and Alice Cull. Jean was the daughter of Everett and Edith (Green) Coakley. She was an extraordinary mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Jean loved her family and her many friends and was much loved by them. She was always ready to listen and support those around her and will be truly missed by all who knew her. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, at 10 a.m. at Richmond Center Cemetery, County Road 37, Honeoye. Her memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at West Bloomfield Congregational Church, 9035 Routes 5 and 20, West Bloomfield.
