DAMIANO, Jean (FOO)It is with great sadness that the Damiano family announces Jean''s passing, surrounded by her family, on Monday, May 2, 2016. Born in Nova Scotia on Sunday, July 18, 1937 to the late Scerena and Charles Foo. Jean married the late Eddie Damiano in Ottawa on July 21, 1956. She had a long, happy marriage. She shared the love of laughter, dancing, travel and, above all, family with her soulmate. Caring and loving mother to Michael, Gary (Brenda), Jamie, Mark (Cathy), and Jennifer Ann (Paul). Loving sister to AnnaMae (the late Jimmy Cesare), Karen (Gaston Denis) and the late Douglas (Carol). Adored and cherished by her twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Proud grandmother to Christine, Natalie, Kevin, Ed, Jason, Rick, Jessica, Melissa, Kayla, Rebecca, Ashley and Amanda. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery immediately following the service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Ottawa General 6th floor nurses Janice and Le.
